An email message can be created at any time during contact handling by selecting a contact from the directory or in the favorites panel and by clicking the Send Email icon. This will open the list of email templates.

After selecting a template the email client will open the selected template with the recipient address filled from the selected directory entry. It will also fill the data fields as defined in the template such as the caller name or number, or the recipient name or department. The list of email templates is maintained by a supervisor or system administrator.

The application will open the standard email program to create and send the email, e.g. Microsoft Outlook.
